Social Media Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce client in Meissen who needs someone to take ownership of their social media presence across multiple brand identities. You'll manage organic content on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest for three distinct product lines, each with its own voice and audience.

Your day-to-day work includes:

• Creating content directly at the production facility—reels, photos, and short videos featuring physical products
• Handling the full content cycle yourself: concept, filming (mobile is fine), editing, copywriting, and posting
• Building and maintaining a content calendar that anticipates holidays, campaigns, and seasonal moments
• Engaging authentically with followers through comments and direct messages
• Reviewing performance data and adapting your creative approach based on what resonates
• Providing assets for paid advertising campaigns managed by the in-house team

What We're Looking For

You've already run social media channels—whether professionally or for a personal project—and you can show us examples of your work. Portfolio links matter more than formal credentials here.

Must-haves:

• Hands-on experience filming and editing video content using mobile tools like CapCut or similar
• The ability to adapt tone and style across different brand voices without needing constant direction
• Strong written German with attention to grammar and spelling
• A self-directed work style—you'll get strategic input but own the execution
• Comfort with a "ship it" mentality rather than endless approval loops

Nice to have but not required: experience with Shopify, Meta Ads, or desktop editing tools beyond mobile apps.

Pay

The client offers €15–17 per hour depending on experience, plus a monthly benefit card worth €50. The role can be structured as full-time or part-time based on mutual agreement, with two required on-site days in Meissen and flexible remote work for remaining hours. You'll receive 23 vacation days annually.
