Senior Vertriebsingenieur / Senior Sales Engineer (w/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential construction technology company in Berlin for a Senior Sales Engineer role. In this position, you will serve as the critical link between technical expertise and client relationships—from initial concept through contract signing.

• Support network development and key account management: work with property developers, investors, and planning teams on multi-story residential projects
• Analyze client requirements and develop tailored solutions based on an advanced building system—sustainable, digital, and efficient
• Own the complete sales process through final contract signature: you maintain full responsibility for client communication throughout the entire sales cycle, proactively addressing open items, accelerating decisions, and preventing misunderstandings
• Create detailed documentation including construction and equipment catalogs, schedules, concepts, and payment plans while ensuring quality, timeline, and budget remain in focus
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including architecture, system planning, key account management, sustainable building, legal, procurement, and production for proposal development
• Negotiate and finalize complex construction contracts (BGB/VOB) with strong understanding of legal and commercial contexts
• Contribute your experience to continuous improvement of sales processes and systematic product solutions
• Build long-term relationships through transparent communication and excellent service, reflecting core values around client experience and sustainability—even after project completion

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or comparable qualification with strong interest in sustainable building
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction and/or architecture industry, including project management or turnkey real estate sales (ideally with a general contractor), preferably with planning and timber construction experience
• Sound technical understanding—preferably in system construction, modular construction, or timber building methods
• Strong communication skills, negotiation confidence, and professional presence at decision-maker level
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to guide complex projects in a structured, solution-oriented manner
• Team collaboration skills combined with ability to work independently and take ownership
• Enthusiasm for innovation, digitalization, and sustainable building concepts
• Self-directed, structured, goal-oriented working style that aligns with a dynamic and innovative company culture
• German language proficiency required for this Berlin-based role
