Senior Projektleiter/in – Bau / Senior Project Manager (w/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential construction technology client seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-story residential building projects from permit submission through turnkey handover. You will take full accountability for project delivery, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and financial performance on projects starting at 4,500 m² gross floor area and larger.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Independent planning, coordination, and control of construction projects in shell and turnkey construction, balancing economic and technical objectives
• Ensuring timely and quality-compliant execution of contractual construction scope
• Monitoring construction progress and on-site results
• Coordinating and overseeing deployment of specialist engineers, consultants, personnel, and subcontractors
• Leading and organizing the site team with responsibility for personnel deployment planning
• Managing project costs and cash flows
• Conducting negotiations with clients and subcontractors
• Preparing and enforcing change orders with clients

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or comparable qualification
• Proven experience in project leadership for large-scale construction projects, ideally with a general contractor
• Willingness to travel to construction sites across Germany—you hold project responsibility and decide when on-site presence is necessary
• Proficiency with Office products (Excel, Word) and common project management software
• Experience in resource deployment planning; Lean Construction knowledge is a plus
• Transparent and cooperative communication style with strong negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Team spirit combined with independent and responsible working methods
• Enthusiasm for digital applications and innovative process design
• Fluent German and good English language skills
