Senior Treasury Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization that has experienced exceptional growth over recent years. Our client operates in the footwear sector with multiple locations across Germany and is now scaling into nine-figure revenue territory with international expansion underway.

As their finance function matures to support this growth trajectory, they need a Senior Treasury Manager to take ownership of liquidity management, cashflow optimization, and financing structures. This is a high-impact role working directly with executive leadership to ensure growth remains sustainably financed.

Responsibilities

• Own liquidity planning and cashflow management, developing rolling forecasts for short-, medium-, and long-term financing needs
• Manage working capital optimization in collaboration with accounting, controlling, sourcing, and operations teams to improve payment terms, inventory levels, and capital efficiency
• Lead relationships with banks, financing partners, and payment service providers while evolving existing financing structures
• Analyze financial risks and implement professional management of currency, interest rate, and liquidity exposures
• Develop treasury processes, systems, and reporting frameworks to create maximum transparency around cash position and financing requirements
• Support executive leadership and finance management with financing decisions, investment analysis, and strategic scenario planning

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, cash management, or working capital management
• Strong understanding of liquidity planning, cashflow mechanics, financing structures, and financial risk management
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, consumer goods, or other high-growth business environments strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and treasury, ERP, or banking systems
• Proven track record collaborating with banks and financing partners
• Analytical, forward-thinking, and precise working style with ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly
• German language fluency required for this Hamburg-based position
