Technical Consultant (m/f/x)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data-sharing technology firm in Dortmund, and we're seeking a Technical Consultant to drive innovative, data-driven use cases with enterprise clients. In this role, you will:

• Advise automotive and industrial clients on AI use cases, IT architecture, and data-driven applications
• Champion use cases around quality management, carbon footprint tracking, and demand & capacity planning with leading organizations
• Serve as the technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle—from initial conversations through customer onboarding
• Guide clients end-to-end through technical onboarding and integration projects
• Identify customer pain points and translate them into practical, actionable solutions
• Drive product adoption and usage—from first presentation to daily operation
• Participate in major data ecosystem initiatives that are transforming collaboration in the automotive sector

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Service Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Broad practical experience in IT and/or consulting (e.g., management consulting or IT in industrial environments)
• Strong technical understanding with a focus on IT architecture
• Foundational coding skills and technical expertise in integrations or cloud technologies
• Experience collaborating with industrial companies and software developers
• Excellent analytical and communication skills in both German and English
• Strengths in structured approaches and managing diverse topics and stakeholders
• High customer orientation and project management experience
• Motivation to help shape a young company and take ownership of results
