AI Text Validation Specialist (German language)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential language technology organization seeking an AI Text Validation Specialist fluent in German. This is a remote contract role based in Germany, focused on refining AI-generated content to improve speech recognition accuracy.

You will work with AI-generated transcripts—converting them from raw lexical output into properly formatted, natural-looking text. This is not traditional transcription; the words are already provided. Your expertise will ensure punctuation, capitalization, and formatting standards are applied correctly.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated lexical transcripts in German
• Apply punctuation, capitalization, and formatting rules to convert transcripts into display-ready text
• Normalize numbers, dates, times, currencies, and other specialized text elements according to project guidelines
• Preserve all original wording exactly as provided in the source material
• Reference audio recordings only when necessary to resolve ambiguities in punctuation or formatting
• Adhere to detailed quality standards and project-specific guidelines
• Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Excellent written German language skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and formatting conventions
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to follow detailed, specific instructions without deviation
• Basic computer proficiency and a reliable internet connection
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Ability to meet productivity targets while maintaining quality
• Previous experience in transcription, linguistic annotation, or similar projects is beneficial but not required
• Full training will be provided before project commencement
