Senior Treasury Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-scaling footwear e-commerce business based in Hamburg that has experienced exceptional growth. Our client needs a Senior Treasury Manager to lead liquidity planning, cashflow optimization, and financing strategy during a critical phase of international expansion.

In this role, you will:

• Own liquidity planning and cashflow management, developing rolling forecasts for short-, medium-, and long-term financial needs
• Manage working capital optimization in collaboration with accounting, controlling, procurement, and operations teams—focusing on payment terms, inventory levels, and capital efficiency
• Lead relationships with banks, financing partners, and payment service providers while evolving existing financing structures
• Analyze financial risks and establish professional management processes for currency, interest rate, and liquidity risks
• Develop treasury processes, systems, and reporting frameworks to create maximum transparency around cash positions and financing requirements
• Support executive leadership with financing decisions, investment analysis, and strategic scenario planning

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, cash management, or working capital management
• Strong understanding of liquidity planning, cashflow dynamics, financing structures, and financial risk management
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, consumer goods, or high-growth company environments is a significant advantage
• Proficiency with Excel and treasury, ERP, or banking systems
• Proven track record collaborating with banks and financing partners
• Analytical, forward-thinking, and precise work style with the ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly
• Fluency in German is required for this Hamburg-based position; English proficiency is beneficial
