About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior/Staff Frontend Engineer (React) to join their European team. This is a remote-friendly position based in Paris, working with a product-focused engineering culture that serves hundreds of thousands of business customers across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable frontend features using React and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Architect frontend solutions that support complex financial workflows and data visualization
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to frontend engineering best practices
• Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and system design discussions
• Optimize application performance and ensure accessibility standards are met
• Work with AI-assisted development tools as part of the engineering workflow

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience with React and modern frontend technologies (TypeScript, state management, testing frameworks)
• Senior level: 5+ years of frontend development experience; Staff level: 7+ years with demonstrated technical leadership
• Proven track record building production applications at scale
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and web standards
• Experience working in agile, product-driven environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Comfort with AI development tools and modern engineering workflows
• Fluency in English; French language skills are a plus given the Paris location
