Senior Software Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential DevOps platform organization that is reimagining how software delivery works in the age of AI. This is a remote Senior Software Engineer role open to candidates anywhere in the world.

Our client is building the next generation of developer tooling—where AI agents don't just execute pipelines, but actively participate in code generation, build interpretation, and fix proposals. The interfaces that allow developers to understand and trust this autonomous work are still being invented, and you'll be part of defining them.

Responsibilities

• Build features end-to-end using Go, React, and TypeScript with full ownership of outcomes across the stack
• Design and implement new developer interfaces for AI-assisted workflows, establishing patterns that the broader team will adopt
• Set technical direction on complex problems, leading design discussions and making architectural decisions
• Champion observability and operational excellence using modern monitoring tools to drive system stability
• Mentor engineers and raise quality standards through code reviews, design discussions, and direct technical feedback
• Identify and close gaps in systems and processes, fixing root causes rather than symptoms
• Integrate AI tools as a core part of your engineering workflow, not just as productivity aids

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of production full-stack engineering experience with real systems shipped to users
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript on the frontend
• Solid backend experience in Go, including API design, data modeling, and service integration
• Demonstrated ability to lead system design and make conscious tradeoffs on complex architectures
• Active use of AI tools in daily engineering work, with clear perspective on where they excel and where they fall short
• Track record of treating latency, responsiveness, and reliability as first-class design concerns
• Technical leadership experience through mentorship, architectural decision-making, and raising team quality bars
• Ability to reduce ambiguity for others and turn unclear requirements into executable direction
• Comfort working in environments where established patterns don't yet exist

Pay
