Our client is expanding their development team to support continued product evolution and worldwide deployment. This is a remote Senior Software Engineer position focused on building scalable, secure applications that handle critical data management challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test UI, server, and interface components using C# in distributed environments
• Develop ASP.NET web applications with focus on security, scalability, compatibility, and maintainability
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring extensibility and proper versioning
• Write unit and automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and collaborative problem-solving with multidisciplinary teams
• Troubleshoot defects and support customer escalations when needed
• Contribute to architecture decisions in service-oriented environments

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

• Solid professional experience developing ASP.NET web applications in C# using Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code
• Proven track record working in collaborative, multidisciplinary development teams
• Strong experience with source control solutions such as Git or Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with unit and automated testing frameworks (NUnit, Jasmine, Selenium or similar)
• Deep understanding of network security principles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
• Experience working with databases using Entity Framework
• Strong grasp of SOLID principles and clean code practices
• Demonstrated ability creating RESTful APIs with proper design patterns
• Experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA)
• Excellent communication skills across email, messaging, phone, and video conferencing
• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Additional Experience:

• Cloud platform experience, particularly Azure
• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Security best practices and OWASP top ten familiarity
• OpenID Connect or Identity Server implementation
• Microservice architecture design and implementation
• MS SQL Server optimization and management
• CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or TeamCity
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform)
