Global PR Lead – 12 month FTC

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential travel technology company in their search for a Global PR Lead on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. This is a hybrid role based in London, sitting at the heart of a fast-paced, high-volume PR operation spanning 23 international markets.

Our client is a globally recognised brand helping millions of travellers plan their journeys more effectively. This role offers the opportunity to shape international PR strategy and operations for a business operating at significant scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead global PR planning processes with agency partners, ensuring forecasting, budgets, resources and priorities remain aligned across all markets
• Drive the measurement framework in partnership with analytics specialists, ensuring reporting connects to strategic decisions and business outcomes
• Optimise the PR supplier ecosystem by partnering with Procurement and Finance to establish commercial structures and financial tracking that support growth
• Manage inbound requests and competing priorities, directing team resources toward highest-impact activities
• Spearhead strategic PR initiatives and special projects beyond core campaign work, supporting the delivery of awareness strategy and major initiatives
• Lead operational improvements across tools and technology including analytics platforms, AI applications and cross-functional processes
• Partner with market leads and agency partners to develop playbooks and strengthen processes, driving consistent delivery across 23 markets
• Manage and develop a PR Coordinator, maintaining oversight of calendars, finance trackers and reporting systems

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working in complex, international communications environments with the ability to coordinate multiple markets and stakeholders
• Strong strategic thinking combined with excellent operational execution skills
• Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior leaders, market teams, agencies and cross-functional partners
• Confidence managing global agency relationships with clear direction, strong partnership and accountability for delivery
• Commercial acumen including experience with budget management, forecasting, supplier management and working with Procurement and Finance functions
• Interest in how measurement, dashboards, AI and technology can improve PR operations, reporting and decision-making at scale
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, prioritise effectively when faced with competing demands, and help teams work more efficiently
• Experience managing and developing team members
