(Senior) Software Developer Frontend / React (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing SaaS company in the compliance and information security space. Our client serves enterprise organizations across multiple industries and is building a modern, AI-assisted development culture. They need a skilled full-stack developer with strong React expertise to join their engineering team in Saarbrücken.

Responsibilities

• Develop features across the full stack of a SaaS application using Django/Django REST Framework, FastAPI on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor to improve development velocity and code quality
• Collaborate closely with development teams and coordinate with product management, UX, and sales stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews with AI assistance and help optimize development workflows
• Contribute to technical product documentation
• Champion AI-first development practices by exploring new tools, sharing best practices, and integrating AI meaningfully into daily workflows
• Support ticket distribution and help steer the development process

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in computer science or related IT field, or vocational training as an IT specialist in application development
• At least 3 years of full-time professional experience working across backend and frontend development
• Strong Python experience with Django and Django REST Framework; FastAPI experience is a plus
• Proven ability to design and develop REST APIs and work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and ORM-based data modeling
• Hands-on experience building single-page applications with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and ES6; familiarity with Ant Design or Material UI is beneficial
• Routine use of AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) with the ability to critically evaluate their output
• Enthusiasm for shaping an AI-first development culture and helping the team work more efficiently
• Willingness to work on-site in Saarbrücken for team collaboration and knowledge exchange alongside remote flexibility
