Senior Scheduler – Life Sciences Construction

Turner & Townsend seeks a Senior Scheduler to lead scheduling and program control functions for complex life sciences construction projects in the St Louis, Missouri area. As a full-time member of our team, you'll drive critical timeline management and stakeholder coordination for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device manufacturing facilities.

What This Role Involves

This Senior Scheduler position centers on developing, maintaining, and optimizing comprehensive project schedules for biotechnology and pharmaceutical construction initiatives. You'll be responsible for ensuring project phases align with stakeholder expectations, regulatory milestones, and resource availability while identifying and mitigating schedule risks before they impact delivery.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software
• Coordinate scheduling efforts across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
• Track progress against established baselines and communicate variance analysis to project leadership
• Integrate regulatory compliance requirements specific to life sciences facilities into schedule planning
• Identify critical path items and schedule risks, recommending mitigation strategies
• Prepare and present schedule reports and forecasts for senior management and clients
• Mentor junior schedulers and support continuous improvement in scheduling processes

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience as a scheduler in construction, with a strong track record on complex, regulated projects
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 or equivalent enterprise scheduling software
• Demonstrated knowledge of life sciences construction, GMP requirements, or pharmaceutical and biotech facility delivery
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Project management certification preferred
