Senior Scheduler – Life Sciences Construction

About the Role

As Senior Scheduler at Turner & Townsend in Madison, you'll play a critical role in planning, developing, and maintaining detailed construction schedules for life sciences projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge laboratory and biotech facilities while collaborating with senior project teams and stakeholders across the Madison area.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to identify critical path activities and dependencies
• Track progress against approved schedules and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines
• Prepare and present schedule reports and forecasts to project leadership and stakeholders
• Manage schedule updates and baseline changes with full documentation and stakeholder approval
• Identify schedule risks and develop contingency planning strategies
• Coordinate with subcontractors and trades to ensure alignment with project timelines
• Support value engineering and constructability reviews by providing schedule perspective

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project scheduling, preferably in life sciences or specialized facilities
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent scheduling software
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, phasing, and sequencing
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex schedules to diverse audiences
• Experience managing schedule baselines, forecasts, and change orders
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with life sciences construction, pharmaceutical, biotech, or laboratory facilities is a plus
