Senior Projektsteuerer (m/w/d) – Bauprojekte & Projektmanagement

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential construction and project management organization in Düsseldorf that is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controller to take ownership of complex building projects.

In this role, you will:

• Lead project control for demanding construction projects, with primary responsibility for schedules, costs, and quality management
• Clarify project requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and coordinate client and user needs
• Independently manage key project control areas including development and monitoring of schedules, organizational structures, and payment plans
• Coordinate diverse project participants and ensure structured communication and transparent documentation
• Support permitting processes and liaise with authorities and relevant contacts
• Review planning deliverables for quality, contract compliance, and adherence to defined project objectives
• Represent project leadership in meetings and take an active role in coordinating with clients and project partners
• Support quality assurance during construction through regular site inspections
• Assist in updating planning objectives, resolving target conflicts, and preparing timely decision-making
• Contribute to new project acquisition and bring your expertise to early project phases

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or comparable qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in planning, project control, or construction project management
• Proven experience coordinating and controlling complex construction projects
• Strong knowledge of planning, construction, and contract law, particularly HOAI, VOB, and BGB (German construction standards)
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project
• Strong organizational skills with a structured and independent working style
• Excellent communication abilities, assertiveness, and negotiation skills when dealing with various project stakeholders
• Enthusiasm for analyzing complex challenges and developing viable solutions collaboratively
• High sense of responsibility with a professional and reliable presence
• German language proficiency required for this role
