(Senior) Projektcontroller (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential organization in southern Munich seeking a Senior Project Controller to join their team. In this role, you will:

• Provide financial oversight for ongoing projects, analyzing costs, results, and economic performance
• Create and coordinate forecasts and budgets, analyze variance between planned and actual figures, and monitor key performance indicators
• Prepare regular reports, support periodic financial closings, and deliver meaningful analyses to senior management
• Collaborate closely with project managers, department heads, and financial leadership on business-critical questions
• Continuously develop controlling processes and tools to enhance transparency and steerability in project operations

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Controlling; alternatively, commercial training with advanced controlling certification or comparable qualification
• Minimum five years of professional experience as a Project Controller, Financial Controller, or similar role, ideally with project controlling focus
• Strong knowledge of project controlling principles and solid understanding of commercial and accounting relationships; construction or project-based industry experience is advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills plus practical experience with Power BI and LucaNet preferred
• Strong analytical capabilities, high affinity for numbers, and independent yet communicative working style when interfacing with departments and management
• German language proficiency required for this Munich-based position
