Senior Project Manager – Digital Communications (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital agency seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead digital communications initiatives. In this role, you will:

• Steer complex digital delivery projects, maintaining control over scope, budget, quality, and timelines
• Lead CMS-based website and information platform projects from concept through launch and ongoing operations
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams spanning technology, digital strategy, creative, content, and user experience
• Partner directly with clients to understand requirements and translate them into actionable project goals and solutions
• Identify growth opportunities within existing client relationships and develop proposals for expanded engagement
• Contribute project expertise to proposals, RFP responses, and competitive pitches
• Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, ensuring clarity and productive collaboration across all parties

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking a candidate who brings:

• Several years of experience managing digital implementation projects, particularly website and CMS-based solutions
• A proactive mindset that views project management as shaping outcomes, not just tracking tasks
• Enthusiasm for understanding client challenges and co-developing solutions with cross-functional teams
• Comfort working at the intersection of technical development teams and creative disciplines including communications, UX, design, and content
• Experience with both agile and traditional project methodologies, applied appropriately to each situation
• Strong stakeholder communication skills with excellent written and spoken German language proficiency
• A completed degree or equivalent practical qualification
• Ideally, experience with public sector or publicly adjacent organizations
• Optionally: background in presales, business development, or proposal development (not required)
• Optionally: project management certification (valued but not mandatory)
