Senior Product Manager, Smart Data Products [gn] Europe

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential data platform organization in their search for a Senior Product Manager to lead next-generation Smart Data Products. This is a fully remote, senior individual contributor role with high strategic visibility across the UK and Europe. Our client is building innovative AI-powered data experiences, and you'll be at the forefront of shaping how users interact with data through intelligent agents and conversational interfaces.

This position offers the unique opportunity to bridge strategic vision with hands-on technical execution, working directly with engineering teams using AI-driven development workflows. You'll be joining a growing product organization that values speed, innovation, and customer-centric thinking.

Responsibilities

• Translate executive strategic vision into a concrete, scalable data product roadmap combining product instincts with data-informed decision making
• Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch, iteration, and adoption, including setting success metrics and prioritizing features
• Oversee development of AI agents that enable conversational and proactive data interactions for end-users
• Ensure data products are discoverable, trustworthy, and valuable within the broader platform ecosystem
• Lead cross-functional squads in an agile environment, collaborating with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
• Champion AI-powered product development tooling to accelerate delivery and optimize features
• Partner with Go-to-Market teams to position product value propositions and drive adoption among technical and executive audiences
• Navigate complex corporate environments while maintaining startup-level agility, managing expectations from C-level to end-users

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years in Software Product Management with specific focus on Data Products, Data Platforms, or AI/ML products
• Experience working as a product manager on open source technologies
• Proven ability to thrive in both fast-paced startup environments and complex corporate structures
• Deep understanding of Data Governance, Data Catalogs, and the modern data stack
• Ability to debate strategic direction and then translate it into concrete engineering inputs
• Skilled at translating customer and stakeholder needs into innovative product features
• Track record of shipping enterprise-grade SaaS features from ideation through scale
• Ability to balance short-term execution with long-term vision
• Customer-driven mindset with passion for customer success
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior work experience in the data management domain including data catalogs, databases, or cloud platforms
• At least 1 year owning zero-to-one or early-stage product launches
