GTM Associate – Public Sector

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential legal technology organization seeking a GTM Associate to join their Public Sector team in London. Our client is building presence across UK public sector organizations, helping legal and professional teams leverage AI-powered solutions. This role offers exceptional exposure to complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive deal execution across public sector opportunities, including preparing materials, coordinating stakeholders, owning proposals and demos, and maintaining momentum through complex sales cycles
• Partner with senior GTM leaders on strategic public sector opportunities while progressively taking ownership of accounts independently
• Research and qualify target organizations, map key stakeholders, and build engagement strategies tailored to public sector priorities and procurement processes
• Generate pipeline through targeted outreach, identifying opportunities where our client's AI solutions create meaningful value
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across public sector organizations, developing deep understanding of their operations and decision-making processes
• Navigate tenders, procurement frameworks, information security reviews, due diligence and legal negotiations specific to public sector buying
• Mobilize cross-functional colleagues across Product, Marketing, Legal and Customer Success to support opportunities
• Conduct market and account research to identify emerging priorities and high-impact AI use cases across the public sector
• Contribute to evolving the public sector GTM playbook, building repeatable processes and scaling successful approaches

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years in management consulting, B2B sales, strategy, operations, public sector, or another demanding commercial environment
• Exposure to public sector organizations through consulting, technology, commercial work or direct public sector experience
• Strong commercial instincts with ability to identify opportunities, prioritize effectively and navigate ambiguity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of turning complex information into clear, compelling materials
• Comfort engaging senior stakeholders on commercial, technical and strategic topics with appropriate judgment for different audiences
• Proactive, low-ego mindset with strong ownership mentality and ability to execute without constant direction
• Ability to work cross-functionally across GTM, Product, Marketing, Legal and Customer Success teams
• High learning velocity and adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
• Genuine interest in AI and its potential to transform public sector professional work
• Prior experience with B2B SaaS or legal technology is beneficial but not required
