Senior Product Manager – Growth

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential payments platform in a search for a Senior Product Manager - Growth. Our client operates a fully remote organization across the Americas and is looking for someone to build their growth function from the ground up.

This role is unique: you'll be the first product owner focused on how companies discover the platform, sign up, and complete their first transaction. The Growth team doesn't exist yet, so you'll define the roadmap, borrow engineering resources to prove concepts, and shape what this team becomes as it scales.

One important note: the standard product-led growth playbook won't apply here. There's no freemium model, no trial period, and no traditional paywall. Traffic volumes mean most A/B tests won't reach significance quickly. You'll need strong product intuition to identify conversion problems and ship solutions without waiting for statistical validation.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire journey from first touch to first transaction—signup flows, onboarding experiences, and initial order completion
• Develop the growth roadmap and help staff the team that executes it, through both internal transfers and external hires
• Build systems that enable rapid testing—standing up, modifying, and retiring landing pages should take a day, not a sprint
• Partner with marketing on end-to-end campaigns: audience targeting, messaging, landing pages, email sequences, and paid media
• Give acquisition channels real product support—referrals, programmatic SEO, AI-search visibility, interactive tools, and conversion of recipients into senders
• Systematize incentives that today are handled case-by-case; define what to offer, to whom, and at what cost
• Prototype with AI tools and get concepts in front of real prospects within the same week
• Work asynchronously in a documentation-first culture where most product decisions happen in writing rather than meetings

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years shipping web products as a growth PM, founder, or engineer, with meaningful experience driving acquisition, conversion, or activation metrics
• Founder or founding-engineer background is a strong advantage
• Technical depth to ship without a full team—you can instrument funnels, analyze data, and build landing pages when that's the fastest path forward
• Strong conversion intuition—you can evaluate a signup flow and identify friction points without needing test results
• Judgment about when testing makes sense versus when other evidence should drive decisions
• Skepticism of growth playbooks that assume freemium models; understanding of which tactics transfer and which don't
• Outstanding written communication skills for a documentation-first environment
• Authorized to work in the United States, Canada, or Latin America
