Senior Data Analyst

About This Opportunity

We are representing a profitable, high-growth fintech platform in their search for a Senior Data Analyst. Our client serves thousands of organizations globally and is building the data infrastructure to power AI-driven insights across their business.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. You'll join a growing data team in a low-meeting, high-documentation culture that values your time and impact.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted data models and semantic layer coverage that enable accurate AI-generated analyses
• Apply diverse analytics methods to uncover insights into critical business metrics and operations
• Synthesize complex findings into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders across the organization
• Partner with Product, Finance, Customer Success, and senior leadership to advocate for data-informed decision-making
• Standardize processes and develop best practices to mature the data function
• Contribute to team culture and collaboration as the data organization scales

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Advanced SQL skills with a focus on well-architected data models, query optimization, and code documentation
• Proficiency with at least one business intelligence platform such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or Mode
• Strong communication skills—you can explain technical decisions and their business impact clearly to any audience
• Comfort working alongside AI tools and critically evaluating AI-generated analysis
• Bias toward action: you favor rapid, incremental development while problem-solving obstacles
• Structured approach to exploratory analysis that balances thoroughness with an MVP mindset
• Excellent judgment and business instincts for effective prioritization

Preferred:

• Experience with B2B software products
• Hands-on experience with dbt, Sigma, and Snowflake
• Python or R proficiency

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $175,000 to $225,000 USD base salary, plus equity and comprehensive benefits including fully covered health insurance (US), unlimited PTO, and 12-16 weeks paid parental leave.
