Senior Product Manager – Prepaid Cards

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech client in their search for a Senior Product Manager to lead their prepaid card product line. This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you'll own the entire prepaid card portfolio, working at the intersection of payments technology, regulatory compliance, and user experience.

This role offers the opportunity to shape a product already processing millions of transactions annually while expanding into new markets and capabilities. You'll collaborate directly with banking partners, card networks, and payment processors to build scalable card programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the prepaid card product end-to-end, including digital and physical card issuance, fraud prevention, and cardholder lifecycle management
• Define and manage the product roadmap in partnership with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Coordinate launches of new card programs and expand into additional markets
• Work directly with external partners including issuing banks, card networks (Visa, Mastercard), processors, and wallet providers (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
• Frame product problems clearly through user research, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights
• Set product requirements and collaborate with design and engineering teams to deliver solutions
• Drive decision-making and build consensus across stakeholders with varying priorities
• Monitor product performance post-launch and communicate impact to the organization
• Navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions with incomplete information

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience building and shipping web applications as a product manager, designer, or engineer at technology companies
• 2+ years specifically in product management roles, preferably at growth-stage startups
• Direct experience with card products—prepaid, debit, credit, or related payment instruments
• Strong product intuition with the ability to identify optimal solutions to complex problems
• Excellent design judgment and technical fluency to collaborate effectively with designers and engineers
• Proven ability to translate long-term strategy into actionable roadmaps and prioritized backlogs
• Outstanding written communication skills—this organization operates with a documentation-first, low-meeting culture
• Comfort working asynchronously and driving initiatives forward independently
• Genuine empathy for users and teammates, with a commitment to understanding their needs

Pay

The client has indicated a base salary range of $225,000 to $300,000 for this position, along with equity compensation. Full health benefits, unlimited PTO, and 12-16 weeks paid parental leave are included. This is a fully remote role available to candidates located in the Americas.
