About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce client seeking a Senior Product Manager (all genders) | B2C to join their growing team. This role is available remotely across Germany or from offices in Köln, Darmstadt, Düsseldorf, or Berlin.

Our client operates a large-scale international online marketplace platform, and you'll be working within a dynamic product and technology organization of approximately 400 specialists. This is a permanent, full-time or part-time position for someone who thrives in building customer-facing digital products from the ground up.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead product strategy, vision, and roadmap for B2C products on a global marketplace platform, aligning business objectives with customer needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data science, and marketing to deliver high-quality digital experiences
• Design and ship LLM-powered product features that elevate the shopping experience, from initial concept and prompt design through evaluation, quality monitoring, and continuous iteration
• Drive a rigorous experimentation culture by forming hypotheses, designing and running A/B tests, and translating results into product decisions that boost customer engagement and conversion
• Define tracking concepts with analytics teams and leverage funnel and behavioral data to continuously optimize how customers discover, evaluate, and purchase products
• Partner closely with UX designers and researchers to craft intuitive customer journeys, validate through user research and usability testing, and iterate rapidly
• Identify customer needs and pain points at scale using behavioral data, user research, and market trends, prioritizing opportunities that create the most value
• Stay current on AI and e-commerce trends, proactively identifying how emerging technologies can deliver customer value

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings:

• A true builder mindset with passion for turning ideas into reality
• Proven track record taking a product from scratch, owning everything from early ideation and concept development through execution and delivery
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based features into consumer products (not just using AI tools for personal productivity)
• Solid B2C product experience, ideally in e-commerce or another consumer product at scale
• Data-savvy and outcome-focused approach: you design and evaluate A/B tests, define tracking concepts, and answer the right questions using data
• Customer-first thinking with a strong feel for UX, understanding of end-user pain points, and ability to derive actionable insights from research and data
• Motivated and empathetic communication style with experience collaborating with software development teams and diverse stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pragmatic environment with fluent English skills (C1 level) and excellence in an international, remote setup
