Senior Process Intelligence & Supply Chain Transformation Consultant – CPG/Retail

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise software client seeking a Senior Process Intelligence & Supply Chain Transformation Consultant focused on CPG/Retail in Munich. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through data-driven business transformation initiatives.

Identify & Frame Value:

• Translate customers' strategic priorities into high-impact use cases for process intelligence
• Build compelling demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
• Lead value assessments and proof-of-value projects, presenting strategic roadmaps to C-level executives

Realize Value:

• Facilitate business value workshops and leverage process intelligence tools to identify opportunities for enhancement
• Derive improvement measures across core business functions and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives
• Present results and realized value to senior management and executive stakeholders

Scale Value:

• Own the end-to-end customer value journey including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal
• Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed process intelligence as a business transformation platform
• Provide feedback to product development teams based on new use cases and customer insights

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background:

• Proven experience in an analytical role demonstrating customer value through business data analysis, process improvement, and software deployment
• Background in solution consulting, sales engineering, or IT/management consulting with business software/SaaS providers, or in-house analytics roles within enterprise organizations
• Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines across multiple concurrent projects

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of business software/SaaS applications (e.g., SAP)
• Experience implementing RPA and/or BI tools, building dashboards, apps, and action flows
• Proficiency in Python and/or SQL
• Experience collaborating with IT teams

Domain Expertise:

• Deep understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domains
• Experience with strategic transformation initiatives such as Shared Services or System Transformation
• Industry expertise in Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals preferred

Stakeholder Management:

• Proven ability to prepare and communicate value roadmaps and results to internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with executive audiences

Education:

• Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or comparable field

Language Requirement:

• Native-level or near-native German language proficiency (written and spoken) is required to lead customer workshops, conduct executive presentations, and manage stakeholder interactions in German

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive with the Munich market for senior consulting roles in enterprise software.
