About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential legal services organization in Berlin. This is a founding rainmaker role where you will bring your established client portfolio onto a technology-enabled platform and help shape early growth strategy. You will serve as a senior attorney and equity stakeholder, working at the intersection of legal practice and operational innovation.

Responsibilities

• Transition your portable book of business onto the firm's technology platform and continue serving existing clients
• Act as a market-facing partner, opening new opportunities through your private equity, venture capital, and mid-market network
• Cross-sell commercial and compliance services into your existing client base
• Collaborate with the founding team to systematize recurring matters through automation
• Help guide growth strategy as the organization scales toward its next funding milestone

What We're Looking For

• 12+ years of experience as a partner-level attorney at a recognised German law firm
• German-qualified Volljurist with an active Rechtsanwalt admission
• Portable, personally held book of business of at least EUR 1M, diversified across multiple clients and weighted toward PE/VC clients with portfolio company networks
• Book includes recurring, automatable practice areas such as commercial contracts, IT and data, corporate/VC, or regulatory work rather than litigation-only
• Strong network into private equity firms, mid-market companies, or similar client bases that unlock cross-sell opportunities
• Native-level German and professional English proficiency
• Germany-based and work-authorised, with Berlin in-person presence preferred
• Genuine conviction in technology-enabled legal service delivery and an equity-driven growth story
• Dr. iur. or LL.M. qualification is a plus
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as large language models or legal technology platforms in daily practice is a plus

Pay

Base salary in the range of EUR 200,000 to EUR 300,000 annually, plus meaningful equity participation. Visa sponsorship is not available. This is a hybrid role based in Berlin, Germany, with in-person presence preferred.
