Senior Operations Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization operating modern automated fulfillment operations across multiple German locations. As Senior Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

• Value Stream Analysis: Lead value stream mapping to assess current-state processes, analyze value-adding and non-value-adding activities, and develop future-state plans to drive process improvements.
• Project Work: Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and increase overall efficiency of processes within value streams.
• Data Analysis: Utilize strong data analysis and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve process issues.
• Change Management: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by applying Lean methodologies, facilitating problem-solving workshops, and empowering cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements independently.
• Team Leadership: Use natural leadership qualities to promote bottom-up engagement and daily involvement of production facilities and team members to drive Kaizen and continuous improvement.
• Operational Excellence: Demonstrate consistent commitment to 5S principles (cleanliness, organization, etc.) and bring experience in training, coaching, and implementing these improvement standards.
• Shift Management: Assume shift leadership once per week with 100+ employees to remain close to operations.

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree, preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• 5+ years of experience in large warehouse operations, preferably in automation environments
• Hands-on experience in Lean Management and/or Value Stream Design, including relevant certifications
• Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of motivating and leading teams to achieve outstanding results
• Strong analytical abilities, proficient with data analysis tools such as Tableau and Excel
• Hands-on mentality that translates ideas into action and leads by example to drive success
• Fluent German and English language skills
