Citi is seeking a Senior.NET Integration Developer – Assistant Vice President to join our technology team in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The Opportunity
You'll design and deliver integration solutions that connect critical systems across Citi's enterprise platform. This position combines hands-on.NET development with architectural responsibility, allowing you to shape how data flows securely and reliably across our technology landscape. You'll work with experienced teams, contribute to technical strategy, and have direct influence over system design decisions.
What You'll Do
- Design and build integration solutions using.NET technologies that connect enterprise systems and applications
- Architect middleware, APIs, and data integration layers to support business operations and compliance requirements
- Develop and optimize integration patterns for performance, security, and maintainability
- Lead technical discussions on system design, troubleshooting, and architectural improvements
- Mentor junior developers and establish best practices for code quality and integration design
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes
What You Bring
- Advanced expertise in.NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, or related technologies)
- Proven experience designing and implementing integration solutions (REST APIs, message queues, data pipelines)
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and system design patterns
- Solid database and SQL skills with experience in data modeling and optimization
- Familiarity with version control, testing frameworks, and CI/CD practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with capacity to work on complex technical challenges
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines
