Our talent team is representing a confidential financial software organization seeking a Senior / Lead Consultant - SAP Payment Central based in South Africa. This role centers on delivering digital transformation through specialized payment solutions for banking and insurance clients.

You will act as a subject matter expert, designing and implementing tailored configurations that align with complex business requirements and technical environments within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for SAP Payment Central in client engagements, applying deep functional knowledge to solve business challenges
• Design and implement customized configurations that align with client business requirements and existing technical environments
• Optimize payment processes to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and performance
• Ensure seamless integration of payment solutions into complex IT landscapes within banking and insurance infrastructures
• Leverage solution features and functionalities to support digital transformation initiatives and process innovation
• Contribute to both initial implementations and ongoing enhancement of payment central capabilities
• Drive value through continuous process improvements and best-practice recommendations

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in a similar consulting role, delivering digital transformation projects in banking or insurance
• Proven expertise in SAP Payment Central with a strong track record of successful implementations
• Deep understanding of integration aspects within complex IT infrastructures of financial institutions
• Skilled in optimizing SAP Payment Central functionalities to enhance client efficiency and performance
• Demonstrated contributions to both initial implementations and ongoing solution evolution
• Strong business acumen paired with advanced IT solution design skills
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to work effectively with diverse, global teams across multiple time zones
