Senior GTM Strategy Manager (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the luxury ecommerce sector, seeking a Senior GTM Strategy Manager to join their Growth Operations team in Berlin. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, cross-functional execution, and analytical rigour—reporting to senior leadership and driving the strategic initiatives that shape the company's growth trajectory.

Our client is a high-growth technology marketplace operating globally, and this position will serve as the analytical and operational backbone for Marketing, Supply, and Sales functions. You'll work on the commercial questions that matter most: market expansion, new go-to-market motions, performance optimisation, and strategic decision-making at the executive level.

Responsibilities

• Own research, modelling, and problem-structuring on high-priority strategic questions such as marketplace strategy, market expansion, and new commercial motions—building scenario analyses rigorous enough to inform executive decisions
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from framing through delivery, including stakeholder coordination, dependency management, and synthesising inputs into decision-ready recommendations with a clear point of view
• Design and maintain the Growth team's internal KPI and performance reporting framework, collaborating with Data and BI teams to ensure metrics are tracked consistently and surfaced at the right cadence
• Identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities across go-to-market functions, translating complex data into clear narratives for leadership discussions
• Produce recurring analytical deliverables including weekly and monthly performance summaries for the Growth leadership team
• Act as a thought partner on strategic initiatives such as US market acceleration and emerging commercial models
• Use AI tools extensively to compress timelines between question, insight, and decision, setting the standard for AI-enabled analytical work across the team

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in strategy consulting, investment banking, or a GTM/strategy/business operations role at a top-tier, high-growth technology company
• Track record of owning outcomes, not just workstreams—equally comfortable driving cross-functional initiatives to completion as building the financial models that justify them
• Strong analytical skills: able to build models, stress-test assumptions, and distinguish between what the numbers mean versus what they say
• Fluent with AI tools including LLMs, research agents, and analytical co-pilots as a natural part of your workflow, with thoughtful judgment about where they add value versus where human insight leads
• Commercial instinct and sound judgment about where to invest effort; excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders and ability to create structure in ambiguous environments
• Demonstrated interest in ecommerce and marketplace business models; knowledge of luxury resale markets is a strong plus
• Fluent English required; German is a plus
