Senior Full Stack Developer (Angular, C#, AWS/Azure)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization based in London seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting greenfield opportunity to build a customer-facing portal from the ground up, working in a hybrid environment (1-2 days in office per week).

Our client is embarking on a new digital transformation initiative, and you'll have the opportunity to influence technical architecture, security frameworks, and delivery practices from day one. This role suits a senior developer who thrives on building secure, scalable applications in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a customer-facing web application from scratch
• Develop responsive front-end components using Angular
• Build and integrate backend services and RESTful APIs using C#/.NET
• Contribute to solution architecture and technical design decisions
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including multi-factor authentication
• Maintain high standards of testing, code quality, and application performance
• Work within AWS or Azure cloud environments to deploy and manage services
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills:

• Strong Angular development experience with modern front-end practices
• Proven experience developing APIs using C#/.NET
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
• Track record of building customer-facing applications
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication protocols, and MFA/2FA implementation
• Experience with automated testing and quality engineering practices
• Exposure to architecture and technical design discussions
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Valid UK work authorization

Desirable Experience:

• DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience
• Experience within financial services or regulated environments
• Experience handling sensitive customer data and personally identifiable information
• Knowledge of cloud-native application design patterns
