(Senior) ERP Consultant DMS (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential ERP solutions provider with operations across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. As an ERP Consultant specializing in Document Management Systems, you will guide mid-market clients through digital transformation of their document processes.

Your responsibilities include:

• Consulting clients on document management and digital document workflows within ERP environments
• Analyzing existing processes and developing tailored DMS solutions in collaboration with clients
• Gathering and evaluating customer requirements and creating specifications
• Supporting clients in process optimization and efficiency improvements
• Analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes in ERP systems
• Configuring and customizing ERP systems across one or more functional areas
• Conducting testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of ERP processes
• Preparing and delivering workshops and training sessions for key users and end users
• Creating and maintaining documentation, training materials, and process descriptions
• Contributing to the development of standardized, reusable ERP process solutions

For senior-level candidates, additional responsibilities include:

• Coordinating work packages and mentoring colleagues
• Providing technical leadership within the consulting team
• Developing best practices and supporting strategic ERP decisions

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in business administration, engineering, or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of professional experience as an ERP consultant or ERP key user
• Strong understanding of business processes
• Proven experience in ERP system implementation and customization
• Professional experience in DMS consulting, document management, or digitization of document processes
• Hands-on experience with a DMS, ECM, or archiving system
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment working with customers
• Confident demeanor, presentation competence, and team spirit
• Willingness to travel moderately

Additional requirements for senior-level candidates:

• Demonstrable experience leading complex ERP projects
• Ability to design processes strategically and develop cross-departmental solutions
• Experience in technical leadership and mentoring colleagues
