(Senior) ERP Consultant DMS (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential ERP software organization with operations across the DACH region and Italy. As an ERP Consultant specializing in Document Management Systems, you will guide mid-market clients through the modernization of their document workflows and digital processes.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Analyzing existing business workflows and designing tailored DMS solutions aligned with client ERP environments
• Gathering and documenting customer requirements, creating specifications for process improvements
• Configuring and customizing ERP modules across one or more functional domains
• Leading analysis, design, and implementation of business processes within enterprise systems
• Performing testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance for ERP workflows
• Delivering workshops and training sessions for key users and end users
• Creating and maintaining documentation, training materials, and process guides
• Contributing to the development of standardized, reusable ERP process templates

For senior-level candidates, additional responsibilities include:

• Coordinating work packages and mentoring junior consultants
• Providing technical leadership within the consulting team
• Developing best practices and guiding strategic ERP decisions

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Completed degree in business administration, technology, or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience as an ERP Consultant or ERP Key User
• Strong understanding of business processes and operational workflows
• Hands-on experience implementing and customizing ERP systems
• Professional background in DMS consulting, document management, or digitization of document processes
• Experience with a DMS, ECM, or archiving system
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for client collaboration
• Confident presence, presentation skills, and team spirit
• Willingness to travel moderately within the DACH region and Italy
• Fluency in German is required for this role

Senior-level candidates should additionally have:

• Proven experience leading complex ERP projects
• Ability to design processes strategically and develop cross-departmental solutions
• Experience in technical leadership and mentoring colleagues
