(Senior) Digital Strategist (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization experiencing rapid growth across European markets. Our talent team is searching for a Senior Digital Strategist to join their Hamburg-based creative development operations.

This is not a traditional marketing management role. Our client needs someone who bridges creativity, consumer psychology, and data-driven strategy to develop advertising creatives that generate millions of daily impressions and drive measurable revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative strategies for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube advertising campaigns in German-language markets
• Design new hooks, angles, and advertising concepts based on consumer psychology principles
• Analyze trending content, competitor campaigns, and viral advertising patterns
• Build data-driven hypotheses to improve creative performance metrics
• Create and refine creative briefs for UGC creators, videographers, and editors in German
• Manage the complete creative process from initial concept through final deliverable
• Establish and optimize workflows between performance marketing, brand, UGC, and production teams
• Analyze KPIs including hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, and ROAS to inform optimization strategies
• Independently prioritize and manage creative testing initiatives
• Collaborate closely with performance marketing, video, brand, and design departments
• Identify emerging advertising formats, platform trends, and scaling opportunities
• Ensure rapid, high-quality execution of all creative assets

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience as a Creative Strategist, Creative Manager, or comparable performance marketing role
• Strong understanding of consumer psychology and purchase decision-making processes
• Exceptional instinct for creative advertising concepts and viral social media content
• Deep knowledge of current trends across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and YouTube
• Proven experience with data-driven optimization of performance creatives
• Strategic thinking with ability to efficiently manage creative processes and cross-functional interfaces
• High degree of personal accountability and hands-on mentality
• Confident working with creative KPIs and performance data
• Structured, solution-oriented work approach with ability to move quickly
• High quality standards and commitment to continuous creative improvement
• Fluent German language skills in writing and speaking
• Located in or willing to relocate to Hamburg for office-first culture
