About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential consumer goods organization that's scaling rapidly across direct-to-consumer, retail, and marketplace channels throughout Europe. They're building a Brand Activation function focused on limited-edition collaborations, licensing partnerships, and co-branded product drops that connect with culture.

We're searching for a senior partnerships professional who can identify opportunities, negotiate deals, and own projects from concept through launch. This is a hands-on role for someone who brings both strategic vision and execution discipline to licensing and brand collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and pitch licensing and co-branding opportunities across entertainment IPs, cultural icons, celebrities, and lifestyle brands; maintain an active pipeline of 5-10 live opportunities aligned to brand and commercial objectives
  • Lead end-to-end deal negotiations including LOIs, licensing agreements, talent contracts, commercial terms, royalties, and usage rights; represent the organization in discussions with IP holders, agents, and partners
  • Own the full project lifecycle for every limited edition: concept development, partner alignment, product development coordination, packaging redesign, legal sign-off, and market launch
  • Build and manage business cases for each collaboration including budget planning, margin analysis, revenue forecasting, and post-launch performance reviews
  • Track revenue contribution, retail sell-through, D2C performance, and brand awareness metrics; use insights to optimize future editions
  • Brief and align cross-functional teams across brand, social, ecommerce, and retail on launch strategy, content requirements, and sales enablement materials
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders across product, design, legal, sales, and digital without formal authority; keep complex workstreams moving on timeline

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in licensing, brand partnerships, or co-branding within FMCG, consumer lifestyle, entertainment, or a licensing/talent agency environment
  • Proven track record taking 3+ limited editions or co-branded drops from concept to market launch with measurable results
  • Experience negotiating and signing LOIs, licensing agreements, and talent contracts with full commercial responsibility
  • Network of IP holders, agencies, talent managers, and entertainment companies that enables immediate impact
  • Demonstrated ability managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously while maintaining timeline discipline
  • Experience owning six- to seven-figure budgets and building business cases from the ground up
  • Native-level German and full professional fluency in English required
  • Strong decision-making capability in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Preferred experience:

  • Direct relationships with entertainment studios, IP holders, or major talent agencies
  • Background in FMCG, food and beverage, or better-for-you consumer brands
  • Existing relationships within DACH retail landscape with sell-in experience for limited editions
  • Track record managing simultaneous D2C and retail launches
