Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential professional services organization in Hamburg seeking a Senior Associate specializing in restructuring with a focus on financing. In this role, you will:

• Advise companies, shareholders, and financing partners in crisis and restructuring situations
• Support pre-insolvency restructuring processes, particularly StaRUG proceedings
• Structure and negotiate restructuring agreements, credit arrangements, and financing contracts
• Accompany M&A transactions with financing law components
• Assume direct client responsibility and actively contribute to expanding the restructuring practice area
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across corporate law, M&A, tax advisory, and audit functions

What We're Looking For

• Qualified lawyer (Volljurist/in) with above-average examination results
• Minimum four years of professional experience in restructuring or insolvency advisory
• Strong business acumen and economic understanding
• Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style
• Team player with confident presence and genuine interest in client interaction
• Strong affinity for digital workflows and new technologies, with willingness to advance their application in client work
• Excellent English language skills
• Ability to maintain composure in complex, time-critical situations
