Senior AI Engineer, Voice Platform

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS client in search of a Senior AI Engineer to own and evolve the AI systems behind their voice platform. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll push the boundaries of what voice interfaces can do inside a productivity tool used by millions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize real-time speech-to-text pipelines including streaming ASR, voice activity detection, and audio processing
• Improve transcription accuracy through context injection such as user names, teams, custom vocabulary, and language detection
• Develop and maintain LLM-powered post-processing including grammar correction, filler removal, mention resolution, and intelligent formatting
• Build voice-to-action systems that parse natural language into structured workspace commands
• Evaluate, benchmark, and integrate ASR models for cost, latency, and accuracy optimization
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to ship voice features across desktop, mobile, web, and browser extension platforms
• Explore multimodal AI capabilities combining screen, voice, and text for next-generation assistant experiences

What We're Looking For

• Senior-level experience in AI engineering with a focus on voice or speech technologies
• Strong expertise in real-time audio processing and streaming ASR systems
• Proven track record working with speech-to-text models and natural language processing
• Hands-on experience with LLM integration and prompt engineering
• Ability to benchmark and optimize for latency, accuracy, and cost across AI systems
• Experience shipping production voice features at scale
• AI fluency—our client expects all team members to leverage AI daily and evaluates this during hiring
