Cruiseplanners is seeking a Full-Time Senior Accountant in Coral Springs, Florida, US to join our accounting team and support our growing business operations.

What This Role Involves

As a Senior Accountant at Cruiseplanners, you'll play a key part in managing our financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting. This position combines accounting execution with strategic financial oversight, giving you the opportunity to work across diverse financial areas and develop your expertise in the travel and hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts and monthly financial statements
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision and accuracy
• Manage journal entries and support month-end close procedures
• Perform variance analysis and investigate accounting discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes
• Assist with audit preparation and tax compliance activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with accounting software platforms and advanced Excel skills
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational ability
• Proven communication and collaboration skills across departments
