Payroll Associate

Yellowcard is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Associate to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will manage critical payroll operations and ensure accurate, compliant compensation for our workforce.

The Payroll Associate position is central to Yellowcard's financial operations and employee experience. You will manage end-to-end payroll administration, from processing and compliance through reconciliation and reporting. Core Duties

• Process payroll, calculating gross wages, deductions, taxes, and benefits for all employees
• Maintain organized, accurate payroll records in full compliance with applicable regulations
• Verify payroll data, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies before payment distribution
• Operate payroll management software and maintain the employee database
• Administer employee benefits programs and respond to payroll-related inquiries
• Prepare payroll reports, tax filings, and audit documentation as required
• Stay current with payroll regulations and ensure organizational compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in payroll processing or a closely related accounting function
• Understanding of payroll law, tax requirements, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with payroll software platforms and systems
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all work
• Strong organizational and time management skills
