Senior Account Executive, Local Media

You'll lead strategic client relationships and drive revenue growth across Nielsen's suite of local media solutions, partnering with enterprise advertisers and media companies to unlock audience insights and campaign performance data.

About This Position

This is a full-time, remote-based role focused on building and expanding Nielsen's local media client portfolio. As Senior Account Executive, you'll be the primary relationship owner for key accounts, translating client business challenges into actionable media measurement and insights strategies. You'll work at the intersection of sales, product, and operations, ensuring clients realize measurable impact from Nielsen's local media offerings while driving sustainable account growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end account management for assigned local media clients, from onboarding through renewal and expansion
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding client objectives and demonstrating Nielsen's full solution suite
• Develop and execute account plans that align client goals with Nielsen capabilities, including audience research, ad effectiveness measurement, and market analytics
• Present data-driven recommendations and custom solutions that address local media planning, buying, and attribution needs
• Collaborate with Nielsen product, research, and implementation teams to ensure flawless delivery and client success
• Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through new business development and account retention
• Build thought leadership by staying current with local media market trends, competitive landscape, and Nielsen's product roadmap

Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of sales or account management experience, ideally in media, advertising technology, or related B2B services
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale enterprise or mid-market accounts and closing significant deals
• Deep familiarity with local media markets, media buying workflows, or advertising measurement
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Organized, detail-oriented approach to account planning and project management
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
