The LIHTC Community Manager position at Cirrus Asset Management is a full-time role based in Los Angeles, CA, focused on residential community management within our CAM division. You'll be responsible for day-to-day operations that directly impact resident satisfaction and community stability in our affordable housing portfolio. This position requires a proactive professional who can balance operational efficiency with genuine care for resident needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage resident relations, lease administration, and move-in/move-out processes for LIHTC community members
- Organize and facilitate community events and programs that build engagement and strengthen community cohesion
- Ensure compliance with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program requirements and property management standards
- Address resident concerns and maintenance requests promptly, coordinating with maintenance and support teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for community operations and regulatory compliance
- Conduct property inspections and monitor community common areas
- Support property marketing and occupancy initiatives in collaboration with leasing teams
Qualifications
- Proven experience in community management, property management, or resident services
- Familiarity with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs and affordable housing compliance preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
