Security Guard- FLSD

Planned Companies is seeking a part-time Security Guard with FLSD certification to protect residential and commercial properties in Manhattan, New York City. Join our team as a private security professional working a steady Monday through Friday schedule.

About the Role

Our Planned Security Services division protects properties and their occupants across Manhattan. We're looking for a friendly, professional security guard who takes pride in maintaining secure environments and responding effectively to challenges. This part-time position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, compensated at $33 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residential and commercial properties to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access
• Patrol assigned areas and conduct regular rounds to ensure all systems remain secure
• Report incidents, suspicious activity, and security concerns to management
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and occupant requests
• Maintain detailed logs and documentation of daily activities and incidents
• Enforce access control policies and screen visitors appropriately

What We're Looking For

• Current Florida Security License Division (FLSD) credential
• Professional demeanor and strong communication abilities
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during scheduled shifts
• Physical capability to patrol and respond to security situations
• Reliable attendance and commitment to Monday–Friday hours
• Customer-service mindset and aptitude for independent work
