SAP FICO Architect

name is hiring a SAP FICO Architect to lead transformative financial systems projects across India. This is a full-time position for a strategic architect with a decade of proven expertise in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) implementations.

What This Role Involves

As a SAP FICO Architect at name, you'll design end-to-end solutions that integrate financial management and operational control. You'll translate complex business requirements into scalable, enterprise-grade SAP finance architectures aligned with organisational objectives and industry best practices. Your work spans the full implementation lifecycle—from initial assessment and design through deployment, optimisation, and ongoing support.

What You'll Do

• Lead requirements-gathering workshops and architecture design sessions with business and technical stakeholders to understand system landscapes and define FICO strategy
• Create detailed blueprints, roadmaps, and implementation strategies for SAP FICO deployments, enhancements, and system upgrades
• Define integration approaches between SAP FICO and upstream or downstream systems, including Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, and Production Planning modules
• Guide configuration and customisation decisions across general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed asset accounting, cost centre accounting, and profitability analysis
• Oversee the technical delivery of FICO solutions, ensuring quality standards and on-time project completion
• Identify performance bottlenecks and execute tuning activities to optimise transaction processing and system efficiency
• Research emerging SAP technologies—including S/4HANA Finance innovations and modern integration platforms—to inform future architecture decisions

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 10 years' hands-on experience architecting, configuring, and implementing SAP FICO solutions in large or complex environments
• Expert knowledge of SAP finance processes: general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, fixed asset accounting, cost centre accounting, and profitability analysis
• Strong understanding of how SAP FICO integrates with other modules and third-party systems via SAP PI/PO or SAP Cloud Platform Integration
• Demonstrated proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Finance; experience leading or contributing to S/4HANA migration projects is highly valued
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical architecture to non-technical audiences
• Proven track record leading cross-functional technical teams in complex delivery projects
