Role Overview
This Clinical Application Specialist role positions you at the heart of clinical education and customer success. You'll serve as the subject matter expert for Sentec's respiratory monitoring and therapeutic solutions, designing and delivering comprehensive training programs that enable healthcare professionals to maximize clinical outcomes. Your work spans onsite and virtual training, professional conference presentations, and continuing education seminars — all directly supporting customer adoption and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver clinical training programs for new and existing customers, including curriculum design, hands-on instruction, and product demonstrations
- Partner with field sales and marketing teams to coordinate customer education and support sales development initiatives
- Establish understanding of product technology and communicate clinical and economic value to healthcare providers
- Support product evaluations and installations with clinical expertise
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and provide customized training to clinical teams on optimal product use, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Present at state and national clinical society meetings to advance professional awareness and adoption
- Travel 60% or more for onsite customer training, engagements, and conference presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent education and professional experience
- Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) license
- Experience training or educating healthcare professionals
- Prior clinical specialist role in the medical device industry preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Sentec's respiratory care products preferred
- Ability to quickly master new product enhancements and training materials
- Willingness to maintain flexible work hours and travel extensively (60%+)
- Current vaccinations and commitment to maintaining all vendor-required health protocols
