SEO Specialist – Remote/Worldwide

Pro Coffee Gear seeks an SEO Specialist in Colombia to lead organic search performance for our growing e-commerce platform specializing in premium espresso equipment. This is a full-time position where you'll drive search visibility, implement technical optimizations, and build strategic partnerships to increase qualified traffic.

About the Role

You will own our organic search strategy end-to-end, from keyword identification through rank improvements and conversion growth. This role combines analytical thinking with hands-on execution across on-page content, technical infrastructure, and link acquisition—requiring collaboration with product, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive SEO initiatives that boost organic traffic, improve keyword rankings, and increase customer conversions for our e-commerce product catalog.
• Investigate keywords, competitive opportunities, and market gaps to identify high-priority optimization targets across product and editorial content categories.
• Refine on-site elements including architecture, title tags, meta descriptions, internal navigation paths, and body copy to strengthen search engine performance.
• Partner with development teams to resolve technical barriers such as site speed, crawl efficiency, indexing completeness, and schema markup implementation.
• Design and manage a link acquisition program focused on building domain authority and targeting competitive search terms through outreach, partnerships, and content-driven earned media.
• Cultivate relationships with industry publishers, niche bloggers, and complementary brands to secure guest placements, mentions, and quality backlinks aligned with ethical SEO practices.
• Coordinate with content creators and UX teams to embed search optimization principles throughout all customer-facing pages and editorial materials.
• Establish a scalable content roadmap informed by search demand signals, user intent, and business priorities.
• Monitor site health through analytics dashboards, search console data, and SEO audit reports; identify problems and prioritize fixes by potential impact.
• Track industry developments, algorithm updates, and emerging tools to keep strategies current and competitive.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on SEO experience in fast-growth e-commerce or direct-to-consumer brands.
• Demonstrated track record building and executing link acquisition strategies that deliver measurable domain authority and ranking gains.
• Expert-level knowledge of technical SEO, content strategy, on-page optimization, and off-page ranking factors.
• Proficiency with major SEO and analytics platforms (Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or equivalent tools).
• Strong data analysis capabilities; ability to extract insights from analytics and translate them into strategic decisions.
• Experience working across departments with content, development, design, and business teams.
• Shopify experience or familiarity with other e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
