We are seeking a full-time Sales Engineer to drive power solution and generator system sales for the Philippines market. You'll operate as the key technical and commercial lead, building new business channels, managing distributor partnerships, and directly engaging customers across industrial and commercial sectors.
Position Summary
This is a field-based, hands-on position combining technical pre-sales expertise with commercial responsibility. You'll identify market opportunities, qualify projects, support the full bidding process, and build lasting customer relationships. Working closely with our Southeast Asia regional team, you'll grow our presence in the Philippines through both direct customer engagement and distributor development.
Responsibilities
- Acquire new business opportunities across the Philippines, with a focus on data centers, industrial facilities, and commercial operations
- Build and sustain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent prospecting and opportunity qualification
- Identify and recruit local distributor and channel partners; establish long-term relationships and provide technical support to enable their success
- Engage directly with project stakeholders and decision-makers to understand requirements, gather technical specifications, and assess project viability
- Translate customer needs into technical briefs for our engineering and proposal teams
- Shepherd opportunities through the pre-sales lifecycle, from initial inquiry through proposal submission and negotiation
- Coordinate with regional teams on technical validation, commercial structuring, and pricing to ensure competitive bids
- Serve as the primary customer contact in the Philippines; support delivery teams with post-sales coordination and relationship management
- Conduct local client visits and travel regionally as needed to support business development and customer engagement
Who We're Looking For
- Background or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of proven sales experience with industrial equipment, power systems, or similar complex solutions
- Prior exposure to generator or power generation equipment sales is strongly preferred
- Track record in project-based or enterprise solution selling environments
- Experience building and managing distributor networks, working with contractors, consultants, or engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-manage in a distributed team structure
- Strong technical understanding coupled with commercial acumen to bridge customer needs and internal capabilities
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across diverse audiences

You'll join our Southeast Asia operations as an autonomous field leader reporting to our regional team. The role requires significant local travel for customer visits and occasional regional trips to collaborate with colleagues.
