The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of a critical function within our government lending division. Leading a team of annual servicing managers, you'll guide your group in evaluating borrower financial health, maintaining regulatory compliance, and coordinating with relationship managers and credit administrators across multiple jurisdictions. Your leadership will directly shape the quality and consistency of our annual loan servicing operations, keeping our portfolio in excellent standing with government lending requirements.

Core Duties

• Lead and mentor the annual servicing management team, providing coaching and guidance on best practices and procedural compliance
• Coordinate the collection of updated financial statements and related documentation directly from relationship managers and borrowers
• Analyse and prepare financial statement spreads, including stand-alone and consolidated cash flow assessments for credit analysis
• Draft and route annual servicing review memorandums according to established guidelines, coordinating with credit administrators and legacy institution documentation as needed
• Track and submit risk rating updates through the bank's designated tracking system upon completion of annual servicing activities
• Oversee weekly reviews of loan past-due reports to identify borrowers requiring accelerated or early review cycles
• Maintain detailed work logs and servicing metrics for management and regulatory review
• Conduct twice-yearly CLAR loan reviews and reconcile loan inventory reports to ensure complete servicing coverage
• Perform on-site visits to borrower locations when needed to assess operations and credit conditions
• Ensure all activities comply with the bank's policies, regulatory frameworks, and government lending standards

Who We're Looking For

• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum two years of direct experience in government lending, loan servicing, or closely related credit functions
• Demonstrated management or supervisory experience (preferred but not required)
• Strong working knowledge of SBA procedures and government lending guidelines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word for financial analysis and professional communications
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills, with the ability to juggle multiple servicing schedules simultaneously
• Exceptional interpersonal and listening skills; you'll build lasting working relationships across teams and with borrowers
• Composure and patience under pressure, with the ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues constructively
• Solid grasp of business English, grammar, and professional documentation standards
• Familiarity with Windows-based systems and standard office software and procedures
