Clarivate is hiring a Vice President of Product Marketing for its Intellectual Property division across the United States. About the Role
You'll serve as the strategic executive champion for Clarivate's Intellectual Property portfolio, responsible for positioning our solutions in a competitive global market and driving their adoption among enterprises worldwide. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, where you'll translate complex IP capabilities into compelling market narratives and work across the organization to activate coordinated commercial initiatives. Your work will directly influence how industries perceive and invest in Clarivate's intellectual property tools and services.
Your Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Go-to-Market strategy for the IP portfolio, aligning product roadmaps, market opportunities, and customer needs into unified marketing direction
- Develop portfolio positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks that clearly communicate differentiation and customer impact in a competitive landscape
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product, Sales, Strategy, Engineering, Brand, Communications, and Events teams to execute integrated market programs
- Build revenue contribution through marketing campaigns focused on pipeline generation, customer growth, and customer retention
- Translate market research, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into persona-driven strategies that optimize engagement throughout the customer journey
- Create sales enablement strategies, competitive playbooks, and product storytelling frameworks that strengthen field effectiveness
- Establish performance metrics and analytics frameworks, converting data into actionable insights for executive stakeholders
- Build and lead a global marketing leadership team, mentoring direct reports while influencing cross-functional collaborators across geographies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in B2B marketing leadership, including portfolio and Go-to-Market strategy ownership
- Proven success leading GTM initiatives within information services, technology, SaaS, or analytics-driven organizations
- Strong working knowledge of enterprise sales cycles, complex multi-stakeholder buying processes, and revenue-focused marketing measurement
- Preferred qualifications: Advanced degree; background marketing intellectual property, legal technology, research platforms, or analytics solutions; experience managing global, matrixed marketing teams; expertise in executive positioning for sophisticated B2B solutions
