Senior Platform Engineer (Go, Kubernetes, IAM)

We're seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Go, Kubernetes, and Identity & Access Management to join name in Poland on a full-time basis, building next-generation identity provisioning infrastructure.

The Opportunity

You'll take on a pivotal role within our Global Identity & Access Management team, contributing to a flagship self-hosted SCIM platform that powers enterprise identity provisioning and integration at scale. This position blends backend engineering excellence with modern platform infrastructure, working alongside experienced software and DevOps engineers to design, implement, and evolve sophisticated identity management services for complex global organisations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust backend services in Go serving enterprise authentication and provisioning workflows
• Advance our self-hosted SCIM platform implementation, ensuring production-grade quality and operational support
• Manage and optimise applications running across Kubernetes infrastructure at scale
• Participate actively in architectural reviews and technical design decisions shaping our platform strategy
• Collaborate cross-functionally with platform engineering and DevOps specialists to strengthen systems
• Implement and maintain integrations with identity services, directory systems, and IAM platforms
• Expand continuous integration, delivery, and infrastructure automation capabilities
• Champion cloud-native engineering standards and drive adoption of platform best practices
• Identify and resolve performance issues, strengthening system resilience and reliability

Requirements

Essential Background:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Advanced hands-on proficiency with Go (Golang)
• Proven experience developing and operating Kubernetes-based applications
• Strong understanding of cloud-native and containerised deployment paradigms
• Background integrating multiple systems in enterprise environments
• Solid grasp of deployment practices and operational reliability principles
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher

Identity & Access Management Expertise:

• Understanding of SCIM protocol and user provisioning concepts
• Experience implementing or operating Identity & Access Management solutions
• Familiarity with Identity Governance & Administration frameworks
• Hands-on knowledge of identity providers, federation protocols, role management, or directory services (Active Directory, Entra ID, etc.)
• MidPoint experience is a significant advantage

Valuable Additional Skills:

• Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies
• Practical experience with Terraform, CDK8s, CDKTF, or similar tools
• Background in Java and/or Groovy
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Automated testing frameworks and testing practices
• Platform engineering architecture concepts
