About the Role

In this position, you'll maintain the accuracy and speed of our financial transaction processing. Each day brings deposits from multiple sources that must be tracked, matched to the correct medical dispute cases, and posted to client accounts with precision. You'll investigate complex payment flows, identify discrepancies, and work directly with vendor partners to resolve funding issues. Your work directly impacts the efficiency of our operations and the satisfaction of our clients and partners across the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review daily incoming deposits and bank transactions (including ACH transfers and check deposits) and reconcile them to the appropriate client cases within our system.
  • Analyze large or complex payments to determine which medical disputes each portion of the funds should be allocated to, flagging any missing amounts, overpayments, or duplicate entries.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries; respond professionally and promptly to resolve payment questions and discrepancies.
  • Submit and track bill-payment requests and coordinate with internal teams on urgent payment needs.
  • Support team growth initiatives, including onboarding processes for new clients.

Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment processing, bank reconciliation, or related financial data entry roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; ability to download, sort, and analyze large transaction datasets.
  • Meticulous accuracy and a demonstrated ability to catch errors others might overlook.
  • Comfort with high-volume, repetitive work and the ability to maintain focus on detail-oriented tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills, emotional stability under deadlines, and the initiative to work independently.
  • Quick learner with adaptability to new software and systems.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with U.S. healthcare billing terminology or prior experience with insurance providers.
  • Must be a current U.S. resident, fluent in written and spoken English, and able to provide your own computer or laptop.
