Sales Representative – Orlando, FL

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential commercial security solutions organization in their search for a Sales Representative based remotely in the Orlando, FL area. This position focuses on creating demand within targeted vertical markets by approaching customers consultatively—identifying needs and aligning solutions that address specific requirements.

The ideal candidate will spend approximately 75% of their time expanding product mix with existing customers and 25% pursuing qualified new prospects. This role requires regular travel (50%+) within the assigned territory and involves building strong relationships with distributors, channel partners, and system integrators.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve annual revenue targets across multiple product lines
• Create and manage demand within assigned territory through consultative selling approaches
• Grow market share by expanding product adoption with existing accounts and qualifying new prospects
• Establish and strengthen relationships with aftermarket distributors, wholesale partners, and integrators
• Influence industry standards and specifications to increase product approvals in construction standards
• Deploy product samples strategically to influence decision-makers through hands-on testing
• Maintain territory coverage with 50%+ travel commitment

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience
• Ability and willingness to travel 50%+ within territory
• Strong consultative selling skills with ability to probe for unspoken customer needs

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related field
• Experience with CRM software, particularly Salesforce
• Knowledge of commercial door hardware or security product lines
• Background in electronic security or access control sales

Pay

Base salary range: $83,000 - $95,000 annually, determined by experience, education, skills, and market alignment. This position also includes a generous sales incentive compensation plan.
